According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), about 2.4 million kids swallow or have contact with a poisonous substance each year. Also, don’t mix cleaning products! For example, when ammonia and bleach are combined the results can be deadly. That is only something adults should handle. Just remember, stay away from cleaning products. Your grownup may be ready to start that spring cleaning. So if you haven’t done so already, get to it! Statistics say that a working smoke alarm cuts your chances of dying in a fire nearly in half. This ensures you change your battery twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring.
